Repair, modify, install, and perform routine maintenance of all Avionics systems with accuracy and with minimal assistance.. Responsible for supporting ongoing flight operations from a design and system analysis perspective, including, but not limited to, disposition of non-conformances, root investigations, and corrective actions.. Proficiency in 3D CAD programs (Creo Pro/E and Pro/E Piping) and PDM (Windchill). Knowledge in the use of FEA analysis tools (ANSYS preferred). The Avionics R E Lead Technician is responsible to his or her respective department supervisor for all functions assigned to provide airworthiness of the aircraft upon completion of maintenance at the facility.. A Lead Technician is required to be a certified A&P Technician or hold a Repairman Certificate, an FCC certificate, or a Radio Repairman Operator certificate as applicable to the work they are supervising..
