You will act as the company official onsite representative in dealing with client, engineering, labor representatives, contractors, vendors, and the general public and functionally responsible to the project manager and administratively to the designated construction manager for the overall administration of the project’s safety, technical details, schedules, and budgetary performance. Coordinating the use of manpower (both subcontractor direct labor and indirect labor) utilizing the project construction schedule and budget.. Ensure a field change order process is in place, functional, documented, followed, and reported in the project controls and project monthly reports.. All reasonable Client requests shall be considered, but where any request is in direct conflict with company policy, procedures, or the contract, the Site Manager will bring the request to the attention of the designated Construction Manager and the Project Manager.. Competency in Construction of CSA and MEP trades

Manage the overall planning, execution, and completion of OSP fiber optic network construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, records, and invoices.. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.. A minimum of 3 years of experience in OSP fiber optic construction.. Familiarity with OSP construction standards, codes, regulations, and safety practices.

Able to assist in bringing quality field civil personnel to the HR process in order to build a competent field crew as well as work with new employees in training them in civil construction practices.. Able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, scaffolds, and work at heights on a regular basis while wearing PPE including, but not limited to the following depending on the type of work, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, FRC coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs, safety toe boots and safety glasses in order to appropriately monitor all work.
