Analyzes potential or enacted legislation and regulations, communicating the impact to the Chief of Staff and External Affairs, Chief Legal Counsel and CEO and develops strategies to address legislative or regulatory opportunities and challenges. Serves as key staff support for the Health Network committees and other activities related to government affairs. 10 plus years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs/government relations in healthcare.
Create and oversee the process for collecting, organizing, documenting, and storing all health care regulatory compliance data (including, but not limited to complete licensure information), whether Federal or State required, across our business segments, including skilled nursing and seniors housing facilities and partner with Business Insights team on the data collected in their environment.. Law degree (J.D.) is required.. CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) certification preferred.. 5+ years health care regulatory compliance experience within the assisted living, skilled nursing and senior congregate care settings..
