A Fortune 500 telecommunications company seeks a Network Permitting Specialist on a long-term, temporary basis for at least twelve months, possibly longer at one of these locations: Chandler, AZ; Houston, TX; Canonsburg, PA or Downers Grove, IL. The schedule is hybrid: Monday and Friday are WFH days; Tuesday through Thursday are in office.. The Network Permitting Specialist is responsible for preparing and submitting entitlement applications, permits, and agreements to support the installation of telecom infrastructure (e.g., fiber, poles, nodes) and acts as a liaison with local governments to ensure compliance with municipal processes, codes, and ordinances.. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Urban Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience).. Experience in the wireless industry or municipal planning/zoning office preferred.. 2+ years of direct experience in permitting/zoning, preferably in telecommunications or local government planning.
