To support the billing and follow-up processes remotely, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Account Specialist will coordinate communications between the organization, payers, and patients, while managing claims, payments, and account maintenance.
Key responsibilities: Process claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and unpaid balances while ensuring accurate account maintenance Serve as a liaison with insurance companies and third-party payors to resolve patient account inquiries and payer denials Analyze financial data to identify and resolve patterns leading to erroneous or no reimbursement
Required qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in billing or insurance collections Basic knowledge of revenue cycle processes and coding systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS) Intermediate data entry skills for accurate transcription of information Ability to conduct research and analysis for problem-solving in non-routine situations
