Lab Chemist

Responsibilities Include: Develop proficiency in the operation, maintenance, and functionality of analytical laboratory instrumentation. Collaborate with equipment vendors to commission analytical laboratory instruments and ensure compliance with site requirements. Create, validate, and update analytical test methods in accordance with established laboratory and site standards. Lead assigned analytical laboratory projects supporting operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure accurate documentation of laboratory activities and maintain compliance with applicable quality standards.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline preferred. Equivalent hands-on laboratory experience and demonstrated chemical knowledge will be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an analytical laboratory or manufacturing laboratory environment. Strong understanding of analytical laboratory equipment and laboratory best practices.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience commissioning laboratory equipment, including instrument setup, verification, qualification, documentation, and readiness for routine operation. Experience developing, optimizing, or refining analytical test methods to ensure accuracy, precision, repeatability, and compliance with laboratory standards. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the ability to maintain regulatory compliance and accurate laboratory documentation. Demonstrated project leadership experience, including planning, coordinating, and successfully executing laboratory initiatives. Experience supporting continuous improvement efforts within a laboratory or manufacturing environment. Important Details:
