Urology Physician

Position Type: Permanent Physician Urology Overview A leading healthcare system in Albany, NY is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist with strong experience in Urologic Oncology to join a high-volume, multidisciplinary cancer program. This is a surgical-heavy role focused on complex bladder cancer cases with access to advanced robotic technology and dedicated OR time.

Position: Physician Urology (Oncology Focus)

Location: Albany, NY Practice Setting: Hospital-Based + Surgical Opportunity Highlights

• High-volume bladder cancer practice (including complex & muscle-invasive cases)
• Perform radical cystectomy + urinary diversion procedures
• Access to DaVinci Xi & DV5 robotic platforms
• Dedicated robotic block time for surgical cases

• Manage complex bladder cancer patient population
• Perform robotic and open urologic oncology surgeries
• Conduct patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-ups
• Collaborate with oncology, surgical, and support teams
• Maintain high standards of clinical outcomes and documentation Candidate Requirements Board Certified in Urology REQUIRED (No Board Eligible) Fellowship or strong experience in Urologic Oncology REQUIRED Active New York License (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED DEA License REQUIRED Advanced robotic surgery experience (DaVinci Xi/DV5 preferred) Clean malpractice history HIGHLY PREFERRED Must disclose visa requirement status (No visa support available) NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) REQUIRED Local candidates within 30 miles cannot be considered Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive package for a specialized surgical role:
• Base Salary: $375,000 $410,000
