Senior Ready Mix Sales Representative

CalPortland is seeking a Senior Ready Mix Sales Representative to drive growth of its ready-mix concrete business within a defined territory. In this role, you will build and manage relationships with contractors, developers, and key commercial accounts, identifying project opportunities and delivering technical, solution-based sales. You will collaborate closely with operations and logistics to ensure reliable deliveries and high customer satisfaction. Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow ready-mix concrete revenue in an assigned territory Identify, qualify, and close new business with contractors, developers, and distributors Manage and deepen relationships with existing customers to increase share of wallet and retention Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure reliable product delivery and customer satisfaction Provide technical product support, mix recommendations, and project-specific solutions Prepare and present pricing proposals, bids, and contracts in line with company guidelines Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer data in CRM tools Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project opportunities within the region Participate in job site visits, pre-construction meetings, and customer reviews to ensure project success Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, margin goals, and activity metrics B2B sales Construction materials sales Account management Territory management Lead generation Sales pipeline management Contract negotiation CRM software Sales forecasting Market analysis Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license OSHA safety training (preferred) Concrete or construction materials technical training (preferred)
