Summary of the Electrical Engineering Role: The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will act as the Lead Electrical Engineer to own the electrical architecture and reliability of the company's autonomous robots. This will include the design & development of Electronics Hardware Design & Embedded Systems Development across the full product design lifecycle.
Senior Electrical Engineer Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent
- Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
- Experience of Power Electronics, SMPS, DC/DC Conversion, Motor Drives, BLDC, Battery Management Systems
- Embedded C, C++ - Bonus
- Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, CANBus, Ethernet
- Experience with EMC/EMI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
- Industrial safety standards (UL/CE/IEC) - Bonus
- Ability to use test equipment – Oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers
- Industry experience – Robotics, Automotive, Aerospace, AGVs/AMRs, industrial automation equipment- Bonus
- Leadership, project management, team player, strong communication skills & proactive problem-solving mindset
