To support a growing legal services company, a California Licensed Contract Attorney will provide legal support for commercial contracting activities by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with clients and vendors in a fully remote, part-time capacity.
Key responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate client-facing commercial agreements and vendor contracts Identify contractual risks and provide practical legal guidance to internal business teams Facilitate contract negotiations and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar; California Bar admission preferred 5+ years of legal experience focused on commercial contracts and transactional matters Strong experience with drafting, redlining, and negotiating various commercial agreements Demonstrated experience negotiating Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and other commercial contracts Ability to identify contractual risks and provide commercially minded recommendations
