Apply risk management, project management and analytical skills to high-profile risk initiatives Identify and mitigate potential risks to Capital One Lead, advise and innovate on transformational initiatives across business lines Work with business teams and stakeholders to develop products, processes, marketing, supporting technologies and risk management practices Support risk/return trade-off decisions Lead risk framework discussions and drive solutions to improve the risk profile Participate in risk forums and business reporting routines Lead ad-hoc projects to improve processes or the control environment Synthesize data and reporting, perform analysis, and provide proactive business insights Deliver results and improvements aligned with business and risk agendas Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts on supported business areas Collaborate across risk, compliance, legal, privacy, operations and enterprise management functions Partner with internal business clients and key stakeholders Drive cross-functional opportunities to improve brand, processes and risk management Set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience At least 5 years of experience working in risk management or financial services At least 4 years of program management experience At least 4 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position

Preferred: Masters Degree

Preferred: 6+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk

Preferred: 6+ years of program management experience leading cross functional risk programs

Preferred: 6+ years of financial services risk management experience

Preferred: 3+ years experience in Agile or design thinking

Preferred: 4+ years of Compliance, Legal, Audit, or first or second line Risk Management experience

Preferred: 4+ years of Project or Process Management experience

Preferred: 3+ years of experience in reporting and analyzing data

Preferred: CRMA or CRCM certification

Preferred: PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
