Precision Grinding Operator

Key Responsibilities: Interpret and apply information from engineering blueprints and technical drawings. Set up grinding equipment, including mounting and dressing grinding wheels to specified tolerances using approved dressing devices. Establish and adjust grinding speeds, feeds, and operational parameters to meet part specifications. Inspect and verify workpiece dimensions throughout the grinding cycle using precision measuring instruments. Replace worn or damaged grinding wheels and ensure proper machine functionality. Perform close-tolerance grinding on components of various sizes and materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all quality and safety procedures. Operate multiple types of grinding equipment, including Wet Grinders, Surface Grinders, and OD/ID Grinders.

Qualifications: Education High School diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred).Experience 2+ years of experience in a machining role, preferably grinding Skills Proficiency in operating Surface Grinders, OD/ID Grinders, and Wet Grinders Strong understanding of close-tolerance grinding and finishing processes Skilled in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators)Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
