This role is vital to ensuring a safe, responsive, and health-conscious learning environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgment, adaptability across school settings, and a commitment to student wellness and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care services to students as assigned
- Administer medications as directed
- Maintain health and medication records and reports, including a summary of services provided
- Effectively communicate with students and district personnel
- Manage and provide health room services according to established procedures
Education Requirements: Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Experience in a nursing role
Certifications & Licenses Required: Nursing Certificate Current Pennsylvania license as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse
