Memorial Health in Savannah, GA seeks a Vascular Lab Technologist Angiography to perform high-quality vascular and angiographic imaging studies. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating ultrasound and angiography equipment, assisting physicians during interventional procedures, and ensuring accurate image acquisition and documentation. The technologist follows strict safety, sterility, and radiation protection protocols while monitoring patient status. This role collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team, supports on-call coverage, and participates in ongoing education to advance skills and maintain certifications, contributing to exceptional patient-centered care. Perform vascular and angiographic imaging studies according to physician orders and protocols Prepare, position, and educate patients for vascular and angiography procedures Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound and angiography equipment safely and effectively Assist physicians during invasive and interventional angiographic procedures Maintain accurate documentation, imaging records, and patient data in the EMR/PACS Apply infection control, radiation safety, and sterile technique standards at all times Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes during procedures Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to coordinate patient care Participate in on-call coverage, flexible scheduling, and emergency procedures as needed Engage in continuing education and maintain required certifications and competencies Vascular ultrasound imaging Angiography procedures Patient positioning and preparation Ultrasound and angiography equipment operation Radiation safety and protection Sterile and infection control technique Image documentation and PACS use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Hemodynamic monitoring basics Knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent (e.g., RVS) preferred/required per policy ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT vascular/angiography certification preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Competency in sterile technique and radiation safety Experience with PACS/EMR systems
