Qualifications: Valid California ASL Teaching Certification required Experience teaching American Sign Language, preferably at the high school level Familiarity with life skills curriculum and strategies Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to engage and inspire diverse groups of students Commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible learning environment

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to high school students Instruct students in American Sign Language, emphasizing language acquisition and functional communication Integrate life skills training into daily lessons to support student growth and independence Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual needs Collaborate with support staff and faculty to promote student success Maintain accurate records for attendance, progress, and IEP documentation as needed This opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in students lives while sharing your passion for ASL and life skills education.
