Talent Acquisition & HRIS Specialist The Talent Acquisition & HRIS Specialist supports the full recruiting lifecycle and serves as a key operational partner across Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. This role is responsible for driving day-to-day recruiting activity from requisition launch through offer and onboarding coordination, while helping ensure a consistent, responsive candidate and hiring manager experience. Competencies & SkillsFull-Cycle Recruiting – Manages recruiting activity from requisition intake and sourcing through interview coordination, offer, and onboarding handoff Organization & Execution – Effectively manages multiple open requisitions, candidate pipelines, deadlines, and hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience – Delivers clear, responsive, and professional communication throughout the recruiting process Accountability – Takes ownership of assigned searches and recruiting workflows, proactively follows up, and drives activity to completion Systems & Data Accuracy – Maintains strong discipline across UKG Recruiting Gateway, documentation, reporting, and recruiting records Collaboration – Builds productive working relationships with hiring managers, Human Resources, candidates, and cross-functional partners Adaptability – Responds effectively to shifting hiring priorities, evolving processes, and changing business needs Confidentiality & Judgment – Handles sensitive candidate, compensation, and employee information with discretion and sound judgment Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition Own day-to-day recruiting activity across assigned requisitions, supporting the full lifecycle from requisition launch and candidate sourcing through selection, offer, and onboarding handoff Source and engage qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, internal pipelines, referrals, and other recruiting channels as appropriate Review applications and resumes, conduct initial candidate screens, assess baseline qualifications, and advance qualified talent through the interview process Coordinate interviews across multiple stakeholders, time zones, and formats while delivering a polished and responsive candidate experience Prepare and route offer documentation, support offer delivery and acceptance, and coordinate pre-employment communications and next steps Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, required documentation, onboarding handoffs, and follow-up on outstanding items Maintain healthy candidate pipelines, monitor recruiting progress, and proactively identify stalled activity, missing information, or hiring risks requiring follow-upRecruiting Operations & Onboarding Coordination Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and handoffs, ensuring required information, documentation, approvals, and stakeholder communications are completed accurately and on time Support new hire setup and orientation coordination in partnership with Human Resources, IT, Payroll, hiring managers, and other internal teams Create, maintain, and close job requisitions and postings, ensuring recruiting activity and approvals are accurately reflected in applicable systems Support recruiting communications, interview materials, offer templates, trackers, and other operational tools used throughout the hiring lifecycle Support hiring initiatives, high-volume recruiting needs, process improvement efforts, and other Talent Acquisition projects as business needs evolve Help maintain a consistent and high-quality new hire experience by ensuring recruiting-to-onboarding transitions are organized, timely, and clearly communicatedUKG Recruiting Gateway & HRIS Administration Serve as a co-administrator of the UKG Recruiting Gateway, supporting day-to-day system administration, recruiting workflows, user needs, and data integrity Maintain accurate and timely candidate records in UKG, including status changes, notes, dispositions, workflow updates, requisition activity, and required documentation Support recruiting system configuration and maintenance, including templates, workflows, fields, permissions, posting settings, and process updates as assigned Perform routine audits and reconciliation to identify and correct incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate recruiting and candidate data Partner with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources on system testing, troubleshooting, process changes, and implementation of updated recruiting workflows Maintain recruiting process documentation, templates, trackers, and standard operating materials to support consistency and scalability Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, automation, reporting, documentation, and overall use of the UKG Recruiting Gateway
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, recruiting operations, Human Resources, or a related role; demonstrated experience supporting or managing full-cycle recruiting strongly preferred
  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS; UKG Recruiting Gateway experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions, candidate pipelines, interviews, offers, and hiring deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Experience preparing offer documentation and coordinating pre-employment and onboarding activities preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, employees, and leadership
  • Ability to maintain accurate recruiting data, documentation, and system records while handling confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Comfort learning, administering, and improving recruiting systems, workflows, and technology in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of recruiting activity, and collaborate effectively as part of a Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
