Vice President, Site Selection, Acquisition

Key Responsibilities: Lead national land acquisition and site strategy for hyperscale and AI-focused data center developments. Identify, evaluate and secure strategic development sites across targeted U.S. markets. Assess site viability based on deliverable power, transmission and utility infrastructure, fiber connectivity, entitlement risk, incentives, tax advantages, scalability and speed-to-market. Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified greenfield and powered land development opportunities. Lead negotiations for land purchases, options, ground leases, development agreements and related transactions. Partner closely with utilities, transmission providers, municipalities, economic development groups and infrastructure stakeholders to support power, connectivity and project advancement. Oversee diligence activity including environmental assessments, zoning and permitting reviews, infrastructure / utility feasibility, title, survey and site risk evaluation. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal real estate, engineering, construction, finance, legal and operations teams to move projects from acquisition through development. Provide executive leadership with regular updates on pipeline activity, market trends, risks and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in data center land acquisition, site selection Proven track record leading complex site acquisition and development processes from sourcing through transaction close. Strong understanding of power infrastructure, interconnection, transmission, utility coordination, fiber, environmental diligence, permitting, zoning and land use. Experience evaluating site feasibility, development risk, infrastructure constraints and long-term strategic value. Strong negotiation, analytical, stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Experience building or leading high-performing teams in fast-paced growth environments.
