Job Description: SwiftTalent Partners is seeking Apartment HVAC Maintenance Technicians to complete service requests, prepare vacant apartments, and keep Austin-area communities operating smoothly and safely.
What You'll Do:
  • Complete resident service requests in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.· Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, light HVAC issues, fixtures, doors, locks, flooring, and hardware.· Handle drywall patching, painting, caulking, carpentry, blinds, screens, cabinets, countertops, and basic repairs.· Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and support the turnover/make-ready process.· Keep grounds, maintenance areas, shops, storage rooms, and common areas clean and safe.· Log work orders, follow up on repairs, communicate supply needs, and follow safety standards.· Participate in on-call rotation, emergency maintenance, and overtime when assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years of on-site apartment maintenance experience preferred.· Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, and painting.· HVAC/EPA certification preferred, but not always required; additional maintenance certifications are a plus (CPO, etc)· Strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and follow-through skills.· Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and basic tools may be required by assignment.· Previous management experience - ability to manage a team, coordinate vendors, develop budgets, etc.
Schedule / Physical Requirements: Schedule may include on-call rotation, weekends, emergencies, and mandatory overtime based on property needs. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, walk the property, and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
