We're looking for dependable, professional, and personable Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. What You'll Be Doing: As a Gotham Buds Delivery Driver, you'll be one of the most important faces of our customer experience.
Your responsibilities include: Delivering cannabis products safely, accurately, and on time to eligible customers within authorized delivery zones. Verifying customer identification and legal age (21+) before completing every delivery. Following all New York State cannabis delivery regulations and Gotham Buds operating procedures. Maintaining accurate delivery records, inventory documentation, and required shipping manifests. Keeping cannabis products secure throughout every stage of transportation. Communicating professionally with dispatch, store management, and customers regarding orders, delays, and delivery issues. Handling payment transactions, receipts, and order reconciliation only through approved company procedures. Following established routes and using company-authorized delivery, tracking, and communication systems. Immediately reporting delivery discrepancies, safety concerns, suspicious activity, or compliance incidents. Providing friendly, respectful customer service while maintaining professional boundaries.
What We're Looking For: The Essentials. No Exceptions. To be considered, applicants must: Be at least 21 years of age. Be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays, as scheduled. Weekend availability is a condition of employment. Hold a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated, with a driving record acceptable under company insurance and safety standards. Meet all applicable employment eligibility and New York State cannabis industry requirements. Be consistently punctual, reliable, and ready to work scheduled shifts. Successfully complete required onboarding, safety, and cannabis compliance training. Be comfortable using a smartphone, GPS navigation, and digital delivery management tools. Follow customer ID verification, product security, documentation, and delivery protocols without exception. Remain unimpaired throughout working hours and while operating any vehicle. Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members. Be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Important: This is a regulated cannabis delivery position. Failure to follow required procedures can put customers, coworkers, and the business at risk. Compliance is a fundamental responsibility of the role, not an optional part of the job.
