Avionics Systems Engineer

Minimum Requirements: Must be committed to working a long term W2 contract, and working hybrid in Clearwater, FLBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline 5+ years of avionics, aerospace, or embedded systems engineering experience. Experience with avionics interface design and integration for aircraft systems, as well as requirements testing, integration testing, hardware-software testing, data validation and Problem Report investigation Strong understanding of aircraft communication protocols, including: ARINC 429 Ethernet-based avionics networks MIL-STD-1553 Serial communications (RS-422/RS-485) Experience defining and documenting system requirements, interface requirements, and I/O allocations. Experience developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and data definitions. Knowledge of any safety-critical development standards such as: DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, ARP4761 This position does NOT require a Secret Clearance, but candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
