Our client, a mid-sized Investment firm in Midtown, is looking for an Trade Ops Associate to work on the private credit business as they continue to grow. While a majority of their work is in private equity, this is a great opportunity for an Associate-level candidate to help build out their private credit platform. This role will also incorporate areas of fund accounting. The team is in-office 5 days/week.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and process daily trade activity to ensure accurate and timely settlement
  • Reconcile trades, positions, and cash balances; investigate and resolve breaks or discrepancies
  • Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and internal teams to resolve trade issues and confirm allocations
  • Work on NAV (Net Asset Value) for a portfolio of assets daily
  • Work on monthly and quarterly portfolio and investor reporting
  • Cash management, wires, and daily reconciliation duties
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in trade operations (reconciliations, settlements, clearing, allocations, processing, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with trading/portfolio systems
  • Experience in fund accounting is a plus
