Patent Partner-Level Attorney

Duties: Manage patent prosecution, IP strategy, and portfolio development for clients in sectors such as automotive, healthcare, and manufacturing. Develop and maintain strong client relationships while expanding your book of business. Collaborate with firm leadership to develop the patent practice and mentor junior attorneys. Provide IP counseling and advise on patentability, freedom‑to‑operate, and other patent‑related issues. Participate in business development efforts to grow the firm’s client base. Work collaboratively with other attorneys to offer integrated legal solutions.

Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the state bar. Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). 6-10 years of experience in patent law, focusing on patent prosecution and strategic IP counseling. A portable book of business with proven client attraction and retention ability. Experience with clients in technology, life sciences, manufacturing, automotive, or healthcare industries. Strong entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow a patent practice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree
