Construction Superintendent

Location: North Carolina | Full-Time | Travel Required

About the Role: Our client is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead all field operations on utility-scale solar projects, from mobilization through commissioning. You'll direct subcontractors and crews, drive the schedule, and keep the site safe and the work to spec.

Responsibilities: Lead all on-site civil, mechanical, and electrical construction activities. Manage subcontractors, field supervisors, and craft labor. Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work, and maintain the project schedule. Ensure work meets IFC drawings, specifications, permits, and contract requirements. Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations, and lead toolbox talks. Resolve field issues and coordinate inspections with QC, engineering, and the client. Track production, manpower, and equipment, and maintain daily reports. Support commissioning, punch list, and turnover.

Qualifications: 8 years in construction, including 4 years as a superintendent on utility-scale solar or heavy civil projects. Ability to read IFC drawings and specifications. Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills. OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
