Quality Technician

You'll be: Performing advanced inspection functions using various devices, such as mics, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, and surface plates Conducting assembly and final layout inspections to meet customer requirements Collecting and reporting detailed part information for PPAP submissions and communicating with customer quality staff Investigating quality issues and actively leading resolution strategies for internal and customer concerns Operating CMM equipment to inspect complex assemblies and fixtures Training others in advanced inspection techniques and the use of universals for assembly inspection This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have at least 5 years of experience using precision measurement tools (mics, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, etc.)Are skilled in reading basic to medium complexity drawings, weld symbols, GD&T symbols, and sketches Can accurately determine and calculate measurements, tolerances, and are proficient in shop math and Trigonometry Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent)Have experience with tube or sheet metal fabrication and inspection (preferred)Are able to pass a setup test and demonstrate strong problem resolution skills What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
