Technical Application Engineer

Key responsibilities: Provide technical support to internal and external customers regarding the Grid Automation portfolio, focusing on Digital Control Systems and cybersecurity Analyze and resolve customer inquiries independently, applying engineering methodologies and adhering to business standards Lead technical proposals from solution architecture to compliance verification, ensuring competitive and requirement-compliant bids throughout the process

Required qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy Technology, Automation Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical certification Strong knowledge of network protection and substation control systems in transmission and distribution networks In-depth understanding of cybersecurity and software environments, including DCS and SCADA systems Experience with network protocols, HMI systems, and relevant software packages Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken, with willingness to travel nationally and internationally
