Impact Head Start supports social competence, school readiness, and overall well-being of children from ages three to five. Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities This is an in-person, on call position. Candidates must reside within Central Oregon. This role will provide essential, professional translation and interpretation services, bridging communication gaps between children, families, and staff within the Head Start/Early Head Start programs. This role extends to translating/interpreting during enrollments, conferences, family nights, and home visits, ensuring families' cultural nuances are respected and understood. As an on-call professional, the candidate will have opportunities for regular weekly assignments and extended interpretation projects. Flexibility and willingness to travel across various communities, including Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and La Pine, are crucial for this position.
