POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, this role supports local talent acquisition and key human resources functions. Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, policy administration, performance management, training and development, and HRIS support. The position serves as a trusted resource to managers and employees, helping attract top talent, support employee engagement, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Recruit, screen, and conduct reference checks on job applicants. (Essential)
Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions according to HR objectives. (Essential) Process paperwork (background check & drug test), ensure completeness of new hire folder, and follow up on documents needed. (Essential) Assist in wage and benefit survey analysis; compile EEO and all other HR reporting as needed. (Essential) Plan onboarding strategies and perform new employees' orientation to deliver an exceptional early experience. (Essential) Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data. (Essential) Assist in employee relations, and as needed, conduct formal and informal counseling of employees, witness, and record employee responses to counseling. (Essential) Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs. (Essential) Promptly process workforce changes and employee changes of status in HRIS. (Essential) Oversee, monitor, and update HRIS system to provide up-to-date personnel information and reporting. Maintain I-9 forms in compliance with Federal laws. (Essential) Coordinate on-site training programs and office events (i.e. lunch and lessons, holiday party). (Essential) Conduct research and analyze data on assigned projects. (Essential) Respond to unemployment notices, wage claims, and employment verifications. (Essential) Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the company. Oversee, monitor, and update HRIS system to provide up-to-date personnel information and reporting. (Essential) Comply with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential) Maintain clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara safety policies. (Essential) Perform other duties as assigned. (Non-Essential)
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Competency Statement(s)
The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and/or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions. The ability to perform the essential functions of the position in a cross cultural, demanding and dynamic environment. The ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat of harm to him/herself, others or property. The ability to adhere to EBARA personnel policies and practices, including the attendance and punctuality requirements. The ability to work well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines, and at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience. Certification in HR a plus.
Experience: Four (4) to Eight (8) years of work related experience, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Detailed knowledge of laws and regulations relating to employment, wages and benefit administration, employee relations, and personnel records. Working knowledge of general policies and procedures. Strong Customer Relations skills.
SKILLS & ABILITIES: Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer. Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking. Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees Ability to maintain confidentiality.
