Location: Georgia / Southeast Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 + Truck + Per Diem + BenefitsA well-established General Contractor based in Georgia is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their team. The company specializes in ground-up commercial construction, with a strong portfolio of retail, restaurant, and gas station projects throughout the Southeast. This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who enjoys being hands-on in the field, takes ownership of their projects, and wants to join a company with a strong pipeline of work. The Role As Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from initial sitework through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities include:Manage day-to-day field operations on ground-up construction projects Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Coordinate and maintain project schedules Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate trades Monitor quality control and ensure work meets plans and specifications Maintain a safe and organized jobsite Review plans, drawings, and specifications Coordinate inspections and work with local authorities Track project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget Maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders Ensure projects are completed on time and to the client's expectations Ideal Background The successful candidate will have:5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience Strong experience with ground-up construction Experience with restaurant, retail, gas station, or other fast-paced commercial projects Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules, and specifications Excellent communication xaygatp and leadership skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of a project Experience working for a General Contractor preferred Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast as required Restaurant/QSR construction experience is highly desirable.
