Power Tool Mechanic / Technician

Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and perform major or minor repair work on pneumatic and electric tools, pumps, controls, valves, and related equipment Prepare work orders, time estimates, and reports detailing repair work performed and parts required in a clear and concise manner Assemble and test repaired equipment in accordance with manufacturers' manual and specifications Perform repair and maintenance on shop, warehouse, and facility equipment Occasionally assist Customers with technical questions regarding the use and maintenance of tools and equipment purchased Assemble and test Company branded pneumatic and electric tools, equipment and controls Appropriate Skills, Attributes and Interests Considerable knowledge of mechanics, working knowledge of electric circuits, motors, controls, and power transmission products 3 years repairing / maintaining power tools and equipment High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational School Degree in a skilled trade is a plus Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License Position Requirements Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Problem solving skills Detail oriented, well organized, neat and orderly Ability to prioritize activities needed for prompt turnaround of Customer tools and equipment Highly motivated with focused ambition and drive Recognition and acceptance of the business principle that providing Great Customer Service is Job #1 for every Associate Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions Skilled in the use of the variety of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and procedures used in the repair and assembly of mechanical tools and shop equipment Strong understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the mechanic trade Ability to rapidly move from job to job as priorities and Customer demands dictate Hours & Compensation Hours: 8:30 – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday Salary: $24 – $26 Per Hour Benefits: Comprehensive Package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance; Flex Benefits Plan; 401(k) Plan and Profit Sharing
