CES/AWS is looking for a CMM Programmer for our Automotive Manufacturer Client.
Location: Asheville NC
Salary: $25-$31 + Benefits
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift

About the Role:
We are seeking an experiencedCMM Programmerto support our Engineering and Manufacturing teams by providing accurate dimensional inspection and feedback to ensure product quality and integrity.
This role will be responsible forprogramming and operating CMM equipment, interpreting inspection data, and maintaining inspection programsfor products, fixtures, and gauges.
What You’ll Do:
Program and operateCMM equipmentfor dimensional inspections.
Develop, maintain, back up, and update CMM programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Program CMMs using Calypso or PCDMISsoftware.
Performin-process, first-off, receiving, and final inspectionsas needed.
InterpretGD&T, engineering drawings, CAD data, and 3D models.
Provide dimensional feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
Verify fixtures and supportgauge calibrationactivities.
Manage CMM, fixture, and probing-system calibration and maintenance.
Review inspection programs for effectiveness, accuracy, and current revisions.
Collect, organize, and archive CMM inspection data.
Create and update operator instructions for fixtures and inspection programs.
Train operators on CMM programs and inspection procedures.
Evaluate inspection results and communicate quality concerns to the appropriate teams.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of metrology inspection experiencein a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of CMM programming experienceusing Calypso or PCDMIS.
Strong knowledge ofGD&T and blueprint reading.
Proficiency working withCAD data and 3D models.
Experience with CMM inspection, programming, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret dimensional data. xsgimln
High School Diploma/GED preferred, or equivalent combination of experience, training, or certifications.
