Summary: The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Over the course of 10–12 weeks, interns gain industry experience while working alongside our talented team on meaningful projects. Job Description / Project Reporting to the Executive Director of Product Communications and Media, the Intern, Corporate Affairs will spend time learning from and supporting team members in both Corporate Communications and Patient Advocacy. The person in this role will work to understand and play a role in how Corporate Affairs collaborates with key business partners in Marketing, Government Affairs, R&D and other functions. Our goal is to provide a holistic experience of working in Corporate Affairs and enable this individual to contribute to the full spectrum of the function’s purpose. Required Skills Demonstrated interest in the healthcare/biopharma sector Eagerness to learn about the roles, responsibilities and impact of team members across Corporate Communications and Patient Advocacy Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team in a fast‑paced dynamic environment Strong writing skills
