Staff Environmental Scientist, Geologist or Engineer

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Certification: Current OSHA HAZWOPER training. Other certifications and registrations a plus.

Required Skills and Experience: The successful candidate should have Experience in environmental-related work, including field tasks such as: Soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling Borehole logging Air monitoring Coordination and oversight of subcontractors Preparation of daily field reports Experience with office-based project tasks, including: Review and assimilation of historical information and environmental databases Assisting with report preparation and project documentation Phone and email coordination with subcontractors and vendors Phone and email coordination with site owners/users for interviews and discussions Management of project tasks and task budgets Experience working on construction sites (preferred) Strong foundational writing skills Effective interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with ASTM E1527-21 and ASTM E1903-11 standards Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with support teams Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Prior work experience with a consulting firm (preferred)
