Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse

HealthONE in Denver is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Pediatric ICU. In this role, you will deliver advanced, family-centered critical care to infants, children, and adolescents with complex conditions. Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the ICU, including assessments, medication administration, and interventions Continuously monitor vital signs, ventilators, infusions, and other life-support equipment, responding rapidly to changes in patient status Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate and support families on treatment plans, procedures, and home care needs with compassion and clarity Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols Participate in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice initiatives, and ongoing clinical education Pediatric intensive care nursing Ventilator management Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) Hemodynamic monitoring Medication administration and titration Central line and arterial line care Pediatric assessment and triage Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Infection control and safety protocols Family education and crisis communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Pediatric Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) certification preferred
