Hostess

Role Description: The Hostess/Host role is a part-time, on-site position located in Boulder, CO. This role is responsible for greeting guests warmly upon arrival and coordinating seating to ensure an efficient flow in the dining room. Daily tasks include handling reservations, answering phone calls, providing accurate information about the restaurant, and assisting guests with special requests. The host also supports the front-of-house team by maintaining a tidy entry area, monitoring guest satisfaction, and communicating guest needs to servers and management. This position requires a professional demeanor, punctuality, and the ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

Qualifications: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a welcoming and professional presence. Experience managing reservations and organizing seating, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Clear and professional communication skills, including confident verbal interaction with guests and team members. Polished phone etiquette, with the ability to handle inquiries, reservation calls, and guest requests efficiently. Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly and safely in a busy environment, and multitask under pressure. Prior experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality is preferred but not required. Reliable transportation, flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and commitment to punctuality.
