Cardiac Critical Care Registered Nurse – Travel

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Travel CCU RN for a contract assignment in Muskogee, Oklahoma. In this role, you will deliver high-acuity cardiac care, monitoring complex patients, managing drips and ventilators, and responding to rapid changes in condition. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams while documenting thoroughly and educating patients and families. Provide direct patient care to critically ill CCU patients following physician orders and hospital protocols Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer IV medications, drips, blood products, and manage ventilators and advanced cardiac equipment Perform and document assessments, care plans, and patient progress accurately in the EMR Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care Maintain strict infection control, patient safety, and CCU best practices and policies Support floating to similar critical care units as needed while maintaining high standards of care Critical care nursing Cardiac monitoring and interpretation Ventilator management IV therapy and titratable drips ACLS protocols and emergency response Hemodynamic monitoring Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Wound and line care management Infection control practices Patient and family education Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active, unrestricted RN license BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred CCRN or other critical care certification preferred Ability to obtain Oklahoma RN license if compact not valid
