This individual works with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in providing leadership in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating program systems. Duties and responsibilities of this position are performed with wide latitude for independent judgment and decision-making. The Director of Housing Programs has the authority to manage all activities of the Housing Department. The Director of Housing Programs represents the agency when working with funding sources. Federal regulations, North Carolina statutes, and agency policy limit the Director of Housing Programs.

Requirements: EDUCATION/TRAINING:Baccalaureate degree or higher in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Human Services from an accredited college

Preferred: MBAReal Estate development education/experience desirableEXPERIENCE:Administering Federal Affordable Housing Programs preferred Working with low-income populations Working in a non-profit environment Supervisory experience
