Travel RN - Psychiatric Job at American Traveler in Brooklyn

Requirements: Active RN license (KY or Compact) in hand required Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and CPI Minimum 2 years of current psychiatric nursing experience required Meditech EMR experience preferred 2 professional references required: 1 Charge or Higher and 1 Supervisor, both completed within the last year Flu vaccine required with medical and religious exemptions considered case by case

Responsibilities: Behavioral Health unit setting Night shift schedule (3x12 and 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) Rotating 36/48 schedule totaling 84 hours per two-week pay period Uses Meditech EMR Floating required within scope of practice Every other weekend required Blocked schedules cannot be accommodated Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted Bi-weekly orientation schedule Up to 7 days of RTO considered if submitted upfront with no changes accepted Must work either a major or minor holiday during assignment Travelers must take a minimum 6-month break after one year before being eligible to return Traveler pairs accepted on a limited basis and will not share the same shift or unit
