Franchise and Distribution Associate (Mid-Level) - Phoenix

Mid-Level Franchise & Distribution Associate: Direct Counsel is representing a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Mid-Level Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its nationally recognized Franchise & Distribution Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated transactional matters involving franchise, licensing, distribution, M&A, and general corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities: Advise clients on franchise, licensing, and distribution matters. Support franchise program development, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements. Assist with domestic and international expansion strategies. Handle franchise-related M&A and other corporate transactions. Work directly with clients on sophisticated matters and assume significant responsibility. Qualifications3–5 years of experience in M&A, general corporate, and/or licensing matters. Franchise experience preferred but not required. Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage a demanding workload. Demonstrated maturity, initiative, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Locations: Aspen, CO | Denver, CO | Chicago, IL | Dallas, TX | Miami, FL | Washington, D.C. | Minneapolis, MN | Phoenix, AZ | New Jersey Compensation$215,000–$365,000, depending on location and experience, plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
