What you'll do: Analyze internal and external audit results to identify improvement opportunitiesProvide coaching and feedback to coding staff and support audit rebuttalsOversee coder work assignments and monitor coding and billing reports for timely processingPartner with CDI, HIM, Revenue Cycle, IT, Compliance and Quality teams to optimize workflowsMonitor regulatory changes affecting documentation, reimbursement and codingLead hiring, onboarding, training and performance of coding associates What you bring Bachelor's degree, medical record science/administration or equivalent healthcare leadership experience requiredExtensive knowledge of ICD-10/PCS, CPT, MS-DRGs and APCs3+ years of coding supervisory or management experience preferredRemote workforce operations experience requiredRHIA, RHIT or CCS preferred About the employer CHRISTUS Health CHRISTUS Health is a Catholic, faith-based, not-for-profit health system headquartered in Irving, Texas, with hospitals, clinics and health plan operations across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico and Latin America.
