Prime Healthcare - St. Francis Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Medication Access/Referral Coordinator to join our Ambulatory Pharmacy team in Evanston, IL!🏥 Facility: St. Francis Hospital📍 Location: Evanston, IL 60201⏰ Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMIn this role, you'll be instrumental in helping patients gain access to essential medications and specialty services by partnering with providers, pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients to navigate prior authorizations, referrals, financial assistance programs, and medication access barriers.
What We're Looking For:
✅ Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License in good standing✅ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential✅ 3+ years of experience in ambulatory care, specialty pharmacy, or 340B environments✅ Experience with specialty pharmacy and insurance authorization processes✅ Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans✅ Exceptional communication, organizational, and patient advocacy skills Bonus Points For:⭐ Experience with pharmaceutical assistance programs and copay enrollment⭐ Knowledge of 340B drug pricing program guidelines⭐ Experience coordinating patient outreach and scheduling in a high-volume clinical setting If you're passionate about improving patient access to care and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we want to hear from you!📩 Interested?
