Job Title/Position: Assembly Technician FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Shop Manager Supervises: None
Job Summary:
Responsible for the proper assembly of staging and parts for customers and affiliated companies. The assembly personnel is responsible for manufacturing duties such as deburring, cleaning, polishing, and packaging.
Essential Job Functions:
- Follow standard procedures at all times unless directed by management to do otherwise.
Filing, deburring, handling and packaging of products.
Ensure all products have no imperfections, such as; scratches, blemishes.
Successfully assemble stages and small assemblies without failure.
Maintain a constant focus on quality while ensuring that all work is completed by the appropriate deadlines.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate the function of the Assembly department within the overall workflow of the entire shop.
Set and adhere to strict schedules for each project.
Responsible for organizing and cleaning workstations daily.
Work closely with Shop Manager and staff on projects.
Report obstacles or issues to Shop Manger to facilitate resolution.
Clean workbench and tabletop at end of shift as described in the Shift Changeover Procedure.· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma, Technical School Graduate or equivalent
License / Certifications: None
Experience: 1-3 years working with hand tools in a custom manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:
Frequent use of hands (e.g., use of standard manual and power tools, etc.)Intact or corrected hearing, speaking, bending, standing, walking, stooping, and visual acuity.
Required to lift, push, pull, and carry for appreciable distances a minimum of 75 pounds.
Able to crawl between tight spaces.
Operate heavy machinery.
Consistently demonstrate a high level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

- Manage time and projects to achieve time sensitive and critical deadlines.
- Multi-tasking and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Able to see projects thru to completed construction and ready for shipment.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and priorities.
- Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision or as a team.
