Duties:
Advise nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations on maintaining tax-exempt status and compliance.
Provide counsel on nonprofit governance matters and best practices.
Engage in transactions and restructurings involving nonprofits.
Advise on philanthropy for high net worth individuals or businesses.
Participate in international activity and grantmaking.
Requirements:
3-6 years of relevant experience in tax-exempt organizations or nonprofit law.
Admitted to and a member in good standing of the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Bar admission in the jurisdiction of the office applied to.
