Project Engineer

Key responsibilities include: Lead capital projects from concept through startup and closeout. Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, and execution plans. Manage equipment specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal resources. Track project milestones, risks, issues, and action items. Maintain project documentation, drawings, and turnover packages. Support FEL and Stage Gate deliverables and project governance requirements. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and food safety standards. Facilitate startup, operator training, and handoff to operations. Provide regular project status updates to leadership and stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related engineering field. Experience managing capital projects in manufacturing. Knowledge of process equipment, utilities, automation, and construction management. Strong project scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management skills. Familiarity with FEL, Stage Gate, commissioning, and startup processes.
