Automotive Technician The Prototype Vehicles team is looking for an automotive technician that is looking to advance their career. Must be highly motivated and flexible to adapt to the fast-paced work environment supporting engineering development.
Responsibilities:
  • General fleet maintenance and repair
  • Retrofit/modify prototype vehicles to accept new hardware designs from engineering
  • Diagnose and repair failures found with prototypes
  • Provide failure analysis and design concerns back to engineering
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience working in automotive troubleshooting and repair (Technical certification from accredited automotive training institution preferred)
  • Equipped with own tools
  • Ability to operate and maintain shop tools and equipment as well as operate and maintain various hand and power tools
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule as well as the ability to travel
  • Work independently and/or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Show attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities/schedules
  • Excellent communication and written skills combined with Microsoft Office proficiency
