Assistant Controller

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Salary: $140,000–$160,000, depending on experience This leadership role will partner closely with the Controller and oversee key accounting functions, including:• Financial reporting and general ledger oversight• Month-end and year-end close• Audit and tax coordination• Budgeting and forecasting support• Internal controls and compliance• Team management and development• Process improvement initiatives

Qualifications: • 5+ years of accounting experience, 2+ years of supervisory experience• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills• Advanced Excel proficiency• Law firm experience strongly preferred, professional services background considered• CPA strongly preferred• Experience with Aderant or Sage systems strongly preferredELS Consilio Direct Hire Division staff’s positions for Consilio clients and does not staff for internal corporate positions at Consilio.
