Role Description:
The Head of Operations will oversee the day-to-day operational management of Alexander Technique activities, ensuring smooth delivery of programs and services. This full-time remote role will coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and process improvements to support teachers and students. The role includes developing and implementing operational policies, managing budgets and financial reporting, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing workflows. The Head of Operations will collaborate closely with leadership and instructional staff, manage operational projects, and support strategic initiatives to enhance service quality and organizational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Strong Operations Management skills to design, optimize, and oversee daily processes and systems. Analytical Skills to interpret data, track key performance indicators, and make informed decisions. Team Management and Communication skills to lead distributed teams, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain clear, consistent information flow. Budgeting and basic financial management skills to plan, monitor, and report on operational expenses and resources. Experience in remote work environments, with the ability to manage projects and teams across locations. Proficiency with digital tools and platforms for scheduling, collaboration, and data tracking. Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Prior experience in health, wellness, education, or a mission-driven organization is beneficial.
