Clinical Nurse Coordinator Woodlawn Surgical Acute

Wesley Woodlawn Hospital, an integral part of Wesley Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Woodlawn Surgical Acute unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring that we maintain our commitment to providing personalized medical care in our advanced facility. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will manage nursing activities, collaborate on patient care, provide guidance, and monitor patient progression. The person in this role will work closely with a team of professionals to uphold the highest standards of care and enhance patient outcomes. Coordinate and oversee all nursing care in the Surgical Acute unit. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Provide mentorship and leadership to nursing staff. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed. Facilitate communication between patients, family members, and the medical team. Participate in the recruitment and training of nursing staff. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in clinical and patient care management software. Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions quickly. Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures and postoperative care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Certification in Surgical Nursing (CNS) preferred.
