Cone Health Medical Group is hiring: Exercise Physiologist in Reidsville

Essential Job Function: Performs functional capacity tests, balance and Musculo-Skeletal evaluations with attention to accuracy and safety assess test results to create customized exercise prescription and results report. Documents necessary information in patient's medical record in an accurate and timely manner to assist with data management and quality indicators for the Rehab program as appropriate with attention to detail and timeliness. Provides individual and group education sessions for patients/participants to counsel on exercise, risk factors and other applicable teachings on health and medical conditions. Develops an individualized exercise plan/program for the patient/participant for home and discharge. Facilitates the preventive maintenance of equipment by maintaining a written and documented preventative maintenance program for follow ups as needed. Generates referrals, memberships and new patient/participant enrollments which includes telephone calls or communicating with providers regarding program participation. Supervises student interns ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and techniques, answering questions, conducting orientation, explaining correct procedures, demonstrating techniques, and intervening where warranted to correct deficiencies in a timely and professional manner. Performs other duties as assigned.
