Internal Audit Manager | New York City We have partnered with a leading global financial services organisation who are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join its global Audit function. This is a senior role offering exposure to complex financial markets and senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end Internal Audit reviews across financial markets and wider business operations. Assess the effectiveness of governance, risk management, internal controls and the wider control environment. Identify key risks and control weaknesses, providing practical recommendations to strengthen business processes. Partner with senior stakeholders to influence change and improve risk mitigation and control effectiveness. Support the development and delivery of the annual audit plan and wider audit strategy. Lead and supervise audit team members, ensuring high-quality delivery across the full audit lifecycle. Contribute to risk assessments and the continuous improvement of Internal Audit methodologies and processes.
Requirements:
  • 7–10 years’ audit experience, with a strong Internal Audit background within Financial Services.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading or capital markets within a regulated environment.
  • Proven experience leading audits across the full audit lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, governance and internal controls
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at senior levels.
  • Experience leading or supervising audit team members.
  • Relevant professional qualification such as CPA, CIA or equivalent preferred.
