RN - Dialysis RN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures, as well as state laws. Document patient care activities according to established standards of care. Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by a physician, including instruction for patient and family. Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units or departments in support of the patients' longitudinal plan of care. Demonstrate critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, and appropriately escalate concerns through the proper chain of command.
